Council adopts first ever EU framework for science diplomacy. The EU is thus strengthening its role as a global leader in science diplomacy.

The calls for ERC Plus and ERC Advanced grants have been opened.

The European Commission opened a public consultation on EU Critical Raw Materials. All stakeholders, including academic experts, are welcome to contribute to this consultation. 

The European Research Area Forum, composed of European countries and research and innovation stakeholders, issued the guidelines on how to use the AI tools appropriately.     

The European Research Council and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina organise a science-policy event in Brussels on 29 June 2026. 

The seminar entitled "International pre-screening and other services for Czech participants in Framework Programme projects" will take place on 26 May 2026 at TC Prague and online.

The workshop is intended for representatives of research institution involved in supporting researchers applying for funding from European Research Council grant schemes. 

Technology Centre Prague organises a webinar focused on opportunities for women in EIT and the KICs on 3 June 2026.

On 10 June, an information session will be held, and on 11 June, a workshop focused on the topic of submitting competitive applications for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 grant.
