Widening European Participation in ERC grants webinar

The Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub will host an online event to discuss possibilities of Widening European participation in European Research Council grants.
The webinar will begin with a keynote introductory speech by Prof. Maria Leptin (the President of the ERC) presenting the ERC Scientific Council White Paper, which reflects on ways to further support researchers in Widening countries. This will be followed by contributions from two speakers from Widening Countries.
Prof. Zdeněk Strakoš (the Charles University) and Prof. András Stipsicz (Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and a member of the ERC Scientific Council) will share their best practices for supporting ERC grant applications.
The webinar will take place on 2 September 2026 on Zoom.
