A one-day training focused on effective communication of research results will take place on 9 November 2026 in Brussels.

The training course will bring together grantees from across Europe for a 1-day training programme designed to strengthen their ability to communicate research effectively to a wide range of audiences.

Topics:

- Working effectively with journalists and media;
- Engaging with policymakers;
- Using social media strategically for science communication;
- AI for science communication.

Selection of the grantees will be based on:

- Motivation to participate;
- Planned communication, outreach or policy-engagement activities;
- Limited availability of comparable training opportunities through the applicant's institution or local environment.

ERC grantees can apply until 24 August here. Approximately 40 Principal Investigators will be selected to participate. Accommodation and travel costs will be covered by the ERC.
