Webinar: Transitioning to new energy systems and its impact on society

The event brings together experts to discuss critical issues climate change, in anticipation of the November’s global climate conference - COP26.
The audience, will have the opportunity to pose questions and be part of the debate.
The Chair of the panel of experts is Professor Ole Petersen (Vice-President, Academia Europaea) and participating experts are:
- Nebojsa Nakicenovic, Deputy Chair of the Group of Chief Scientific Advisors; Director of the World in 2050
- Benjamin Sovacool, Professor of Energy Policy, University of Sussex; Member of the SAPEA Working Group
- Nick Pidgeon, Professor of Environmental Psychology and Risk; Director of the Understanding Risk Research Group, Cardiff University
- Eystein Jansen, Professor of Earth Sciences /Paleoclimatology, University of Bergen; Member of the Scientific Council of the European Research Council (ERC)
