REGON – January 2024: Illegitimate Influence

On 3 January 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m., the next meeting of the REGON series will be held on the topic of Illegitimate Influence: Raising Awareness and Resilience, which concerns both the risks of international cooperation in research, innovation and education.
A representative of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic will present the topic and its impact in the field of research, development and innovation in Czechia. Representatives of Charles University Valérie Hůrská, manager of counter-influence security, and Masaryk University Miroslav Mareš, professor at the Department of Political Science with a focus on security studies and coordinator of the creation of the counter-influence manual at MUNI, will talk about specific examples, procedures and processes that take place at these two academic institutions.
