Priorities of the Spanish Presidency in the EU Council for Science and Research - conference calendar

CZELO presents an overview of the priorities of the Spanish Presidency: strategic autonomy - re-industrialization of the EU, a shift in the green transformation and social and economic justice. As part of its priorities, Spain plans to organize 12 thematic conferences.
One of the important priorities is also the extension of the PRIMA partnership, which focuses mainly on Mediterranean scientific cooperation and regional innovation, including in cooperation with African states. Emphasis will also be placed on the translation of science and research into the creation of public policy, but also at the regional level within the framework of strengthening synergies. The evaluation of the current Horizon Europe program will already be dealt with by the presidencies of Belgium and Hungary, which follow.
An informal meeting of Ministers for Science and Research will take place during the Spanish Presidency on 27-28 June.
The conferences will focus mainly on research infrastructures, MSCA, science diplomacy, High Performance Computing or Start-up Villages.
