Position paper of the Czech NCPs towards FP10

The document is based on their experience from the implementation of Horizon Europe, and summarise their proposals for the following Framework Programme.
The position paper, published in October 2024, point out some aspects of the functioning of the Horizon Europe that might be useful to reflect and consider in the next framwork programme.
Czech NCPs recommend maintaining continuity between Horizon Europe and FP10. They support simplification in calculating personnel cost (such as funding in the form of lump sums). They also require to increase the total budget of the programme.
For national contacts from TC Prague, the key areas that FP10 should follow up on are: ERC projects, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, or the development of research infrastructures and Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation. On the contrary, they propose to place the European Institute of Innovation and Technology outside of FP10. European partnerships should also continue.
