Online event: Gender equality in research

Horizon Europe sets gender equality as a cross-cutting principle and aims to eliminate gender inequality and intersecting socioeconomic inequalities throughout research and innovation systems, including by addressing unconscious bias and systemic structural barriers.

This event is organised by GE ACADEMY, which has been working on a project addressing the gender inequalities in the R&I ecosystem for several years in its project. Through this final online event, the project results will be presented as well as its business model after the project’s lifetime will be promoted.

Event objectives:

  • Understand why a Gender Equality plan is necessary for achieving structural change
  • Learn more about GE Academy’s legacy after the project’s completion
  • Get an insight into the pan-European network of trainers that was built and its operation after the project’s completion
