New joint call of EIG CONCERT-Japan

Tue May 11 11:21:01 CEST 2021

Given the participation of the CAS in the EIG CONCERT-Japan activity and its joint calls on Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy, the institutes of the CAS have a further opportunity of international cooperation with European countries and Japan.

For interested parts in this cooperation, submission of the joint project proposal is conditioned by creating a consortium of at least three scientific teams from the countries involved in EIG CONCERT-Japan, where teams from Europe and Japan must be always involved. The project proposal is submitted for the whole consortium by a project coordinator via the online portal PT-Outline. The deadline for submitting the proposals is 9 July 2021.

Apart from the CAS, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MŠMT) is also participating in the activity. Therefore, interested applicants from the CAS institutes may choose whether to apply for financial support for the Czech part of the project at the CAS or MŠMT. The conditions of each provider are available in the call documentation, which can be found on the EIG CONCERT-Japan activity website. The maximum total amount with which the CAS will support a successful team is EUR 120,000 for the entire duration of the project (i.e., 36 months).

Any scientific team from the CAS, which chooses the CAS as the provider of financial support, is obliged to send the completed "Project Proposal Details" form to zochova@kav.cas.cz by 9 July 2021.

More information about the call and EIG CONCERT-Japan activity per se, including an overview of the countries involved, can be found on the EIG CONCERT-Japan website.

In case of any questions, please contact Dr. Alena Žochová at the e-mail address zochova@kav.cas.cz or phone number +420 221 403 566.
