LAST MINUTE: MSCA Science-Policy competition

Register by noon (CEST) June 30th for the MSCA competition, which will be held on the 14th-15th November in Toledo as part of the MSCA conference under the Spanish Presidency, for those whose research has an impact on policy making.
For selected competitors, there are also professional group and individual coaching sessions focused on maximizing the impact of their research on policy, but also on research communication and effective presentation during the competition.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the European Commission.
Eligibility: both novice and experienced researchers and other staff involved in any MSCA research and innovation projects, or graduates who have completed their project no later than three years ago.

Competition format: Through 3-minute presentations, 15 competitors will explain how their research contributes to the convergence of science and policy-making. They will then answer live questions from a panel of experts from academia, business and the public.
The conference is co-organized by the European Commission and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). The event will be broadcast online.
Prizes: three winners and one audience winner will be selected. All will receive a trip to Europe for themselves and a companion, will be invited to the EuroScience Open Forum 2024 meeting in Katowice, Poland, and their presentation and research will be disseminated through EC communication channels.
