Globe EU Wake Up Call: webinar on water stress

So-called “Wake Up Calls” is a series of talks on current pressing environmental challenges, organised by Globe EU. The platform, composed of Members of the European Parliament from different countries and political groups, focuses on strengthening environmental protection in the EU.

The next seminar, which will take place on 23 March 2021 at 15:45 - 16:45 CET, will be devoted to the issue of water stress, globally as well in the EU. The presentation will also touch upon related security risks, highlight the link with energy consumption and climate change, and emphasize the need for good water management practices.

The webinar will be led by Ms Betsy Otto, Water Initiatives Director at the World Resources Institute (WRI).
