First CZARMA membership meeting

The Czech Association of Research Managers and Administrators (CZARMA), a professional association of research managers and administrators, is holding its first membership meeting.

The organisation aims to:

• To bring together and connect managers and administrators in science and research;
• be a platform for sharing experiences, know-how, and good practice;
• organise training events for the professional development of research management and administration staff;
• to contribute to building the reputation of the research management and administration profession;
• cooperate with scientific and research organisations, universities, public administration, and similar professional associations in the Czech Republic and abroad;
• contribute to the development and cultivation of the Czech and European research area;
• to be a partner of relevant public authorities and funders;
• participate in commenting on new legislative and economic documents.

The advantages of membership in the organisation are, for example, networking with other colleagues, both from the Czech and foreign environments in the field of science administration and management, as well as the opportunity to actively participate in CZARMA activities and to attend working groups and meetings with partners, last but not least, membership also opens the opportunity for further training.

The meeting will be held on 7 September 2022 at the Technology Centre of the CAS in Prague.
