CZELO informs that the Swiss government has published a financial guarantee for the year 2024 for the participation of Swiss entities in the collaborative projects of the Horizon Europe and Euratom program.
Furthermore, CZELO states that "the financial guarantee covers the participation of researchers and innovators based in Switzerland (including small and medium-sized enterprises) in projects in which Swiss entities will be treated as associated partners from a non-associated third country. The funding will be paid directly by the Swiss State Secretariat for education, research and innovation (SERI) for all eligible calls for 2024 under the Horizon Europe and Euratom programme. As Switzerland remains a non-associated third country, the number of calls to which Swiss entities can apply is limited."
Funding conditions and other answers to questions related to Switzerland's participation can be found on the website of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).
