European Culture Cloud 2024 Calls
Thu Apr 25 14:37:00 CEST 2024
On June 18, the second round of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCH) calls for 2024 will be launched with a deadline of 22 January 2025 at 5 p.m.
The aim of the ECCCH is to create a common platform for European cooperation in the field of digitisation of cultural heritage, such as textiles, and thus prevent the disappearance of cultural heritage due to natural or anthropogenic threats.
TC Prague informs that the calls for 2024 propose 5 basic thematic areas. The task is to develop basic tools and functionalities that will contribute to the usefulness, performance, user-friendliness and attractiveness of the platform. The terms of reference for HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01 (p. 101) are available in the updated Work Programme 2023-2025.
Information about successful projects in the 2023 calls and the current status of ECCH can be found on the TC Prague website here.
ECCH builds on the Europeana Platform, through which museums, galleries, libraries and archives in Europe can share and re-use digitised images of cultural heritage, including models of historic sites and high-quality scans of paintings and paintings, or offer free access to digitised versions of books and music. Today, Europeana provides over 52 million records of objects, monuments and art collections.
