EU launches Open Research Europe publishing platform

The EU has been striving to achieve open access to all publications funded from the EU financial resources for long. An important step in this direction is the new publishing platform Open Research Europe, officially launched by the European Commission on 24 March 2021.
The platform will present the results of research funded by Horizon Europe and its predecessor Horizon 2020.
Publishing on the platform will be voluntary and will enable beneficiaries to publish their scientific results in immediate open access mode at no cost.
