EU-Catalyst Partnership: Request for proposals of pioneering green technology projects

Breakthrough Energy Catalyst published a request for proposals for large-scale deep green tech projects based in Europe.
The request will trigger investments in a portfolio of high-potential projects in the areas of clean hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels, direct air capture, and long-duration energy storage.
The EU-Catalyst partnership brings together the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst. The partnership will help deliver on the European Green Deal ambitions and the EU's 2030 climate target.
The request for proposals is expected to remain open for submissions until 31 December 2027. All Respondents seeking funding in the first half of 2023 must provide their Part I Submission by 13 May 2022, at which time Catalyst will undertake its first round of evaluations.
