ERC grant competitions 2024: New panels and lump sum funding for Advanced Grants

The ERC’s new 2024 Work Programme, including the detailed information about the grant competitions, is expected to be adopted by the European Commission in early summer 2023.
Please, familiarize yourself with the panel structure and background rationale for the restructuring.
Apart from the panel restructuring, please note that the lump sum type of funding will be introduced in the 2024 Work Programme in the category of Advanced Grants, based on the ERC Scientific Council preliminary decision made in June 2022.
