EIT Governing Board presents new vision for a competitive Europe

The aim of the new vision of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is to strengthen Europe’s ability to innovate, increase Europe’s competitiveness and sustainable economic growth.

The vision called "EIT Governing Board Vision for a competitive Europe" aims to fulfil the EU's long-term strategy, which is to develop competitiveness, a new generation of entrepreneurs, and create new jobs and strengthen cooperation among leading business, education and research organisations.  

This document is based on Draghi's report. It also recommends improving the commercialisation of research results and supporting innovative start-ups.
