Call to renew membership of the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety

The European Commission invites researchers to join its Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS). Experts can apply until 31 March 2026.

The Scientific Committee provides the Commission with specific advice in the areas of consumer safety, and cosmetic ingredients. It is composed of a maximum of 19 members. 

This opportunity is intended for well-established scientists with at least 10 years of professional experience. A multidisciplinary focus of the expert is also desirable. It is essential for applicants to have proven experience in risk assessment related to consumer safety.
