CZARMA conference and 3rd members´ meeting

The Czech Association of Managers and Administrators in Research, z. s. is organizing the second annual conference and the third members' meeting on October 2, 2024. It will take place at the Faculty of Chemistry BUT, Purkyňova 118.

The conference will mainly focus on the professions of manager and administrator in research from the perspective of the management of a research institution. The event will include a panel discussion by representatives of the management of research institutions and universities - the Czech Academy of Sciences, the University of Technology in Brno, Masaryk University, and the University of Silesia. Jiří Nantl, the Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, will give an opening speech. 

Programme

Discussion round tables in the CEITEC premises of the Brno University of Technology (Purkyňova 123) will take place on October 1, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. The meeting will discuss financial and legal issues of research projects, widening, science evaluation, and mobility. In addition, on October 1, 2024, a networking meeting of CZARMA members will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. in Platz (Zelný trh 10, Brno).
