2nd ESA Spark Funding call for space technology transfer

European Space Agency (ESA) Spark Funding initiative offers 60,000 EUR for the transfer of space technology to non-space sector to cover costs of the prototyping phase or market launch.
ESA Spark Funding aims to support the transfer of space technologies such as sensors, materials and electronics to non-space sector. The transfer must take place within 12 months of receiving the financial support.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, research centres and universities can participate. Applicants' applications will be evaluated based on business case, technology maturity and socio-economic impact. The evaluation committee will consist of representatives of the ESA Technology Broker team, ESA and the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic.
